Taiyo Kogyo Corporation held "Membrane Design Competition 11th/'96" . The application period was from March through August, 1996. The Screening Committee selected the prize winners.Among 176 entries, 85 were from 23 overseas countries. With the introduction of INTERNET to provide information, the Competitionon has become more widely recognized worldwide. The details on application to the "Membrane Design Competition 12th/'97" would be announced in January 1997.
The award-ceremony and the reception party were held with participation of the award-winners, juries, and TAIYO KOGYO president. Dr. ANDJELKO SIMIC, Croatia Ambassador to Japan, attended the reception, celebrating Croatian native Mr. Modrcin.
