1937 Born in Nagoya, Japan.
1961 Graduated from Department of Architecture at the Nagoya Institute of Technology.
1967 Completed Master and Doctor Courses at the Graduate School of Architecture at Waseda University.
1967 Established Masayuki Kurokawa Architect & Associates.

1976 Annual Prize of The Japan Interior Designers' Association for series of Interior Elements.
1979 GOM Series are included in the Permanent Design Collection of The Museum of Modern Art, New York.
1986 Mainichi Design Award, 1985
1988 RABAT, DOMANI and INGOT-BATTA are included in the Permanent Design Collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
