Taiyo Kogyo was founded in 1922 as Nomura Tent Shokai, and later restarted with a single sewing machine and a pair of scissors amidst the burnt ruins of the postwar period. Since our founding, we have been introducing unique products that take advantage of the characteristics of "membrane" materials, with the desire to be as useful to society as possible and to deliver excitement to as many people as possible.

For 100 years, Taiyo Kogyo has believed more than anyone else in the possibilities of membranes, and has continued to take on the challenge of creating new spaces and environments with membranes. Today, Taiyo Kogyo has grown into a company that supports the safety and security of society and contributes to the enrichment of people's lives in a wide range of fields.

However, the world now faces a number of serious challenges never before experienced. To halt global warming and achieve a decarbonized society as soon as possible. Developing new energy resources to achieve this goal. Protecting lives from large-scale natural disasters and new infectious diseases around the world. And above all, to create a peaceful, conflict-free everyday life.
