Implemented “corporate version of hometown tax payment” to Minamihoro Town, Pibu Town, and Kamikawa Town in Hokkaido.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Taiyo Kogyo for their generous donation to our town’s educational program. The learning opportunities provided by Koelwa, with its staff of university students from all over the country and their enthusiastic guidance, are very valuable learning opportunities.
We would like to express our respect to Koelwa’s challenge and Taiyo Kogyo’s support for their efforts, and ask that you continue your efforts to enhance the educational environment.

Pibu Town, a “town of ski slopes and strawberries,” has a population of approximately 3,400 and is home to the Yumepirika brand of rice. There is no high school in the town, and the town has only one compulsory school, which is an integrated elementary and junior high school. The town aims to “provide a place for experiences to acquire the ability to live” as something it can do for the children who have been fortunate enough to become Hibu’s children, and as part of this effort, the town has been conducting Ashiterapippu (learning place project) for the past three years.
However, the financial situation has been so severe that the continuation of the program was in jeopardy. We would like to express our sincere appreciation and continue our efforts to create a place of experience for children.

We believe that this donation from Taiyo Kogyo, which has little contact with the education business, is based on the corporate philosophy of the Taiyo Group, which is to “expand the world of possibilities for children in the community,” and that the donation was made in sympathy with the purpose of this project.
