Training for new employees in 2025 at Expo Sauna “Sun Buds”.

(Tokyo headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Osaka headquarters: Yodogawa-ku, Osaka; President: Yumi Nomura; hereafter “Taiyo Kogyo”), an event consulting company, and TSP Taiyo Co. (headquartered in Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President: Fumitaka Awano; hereinafter “TSP Taiyo”), an event and facility management company, and ACTIO Corporation (headquartered in Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President: Fumitaka Awano; hereinafter “ACTIO”), all three Taiyo Group companies, jointly conducted a training program for 24 newly graduated employees to experience Expo ’02 sauna “The Sun in the Bud” on May 14, 2025. This training was conducted with the aim of understanding the philosophy of the Taiyo Group and strengthening engagement. Through the hands-on experience of the “Taiyo no Tsubomi”, participants presented the value provided by the sauna to the group.

Taiyo Kogyo’s business reached a major turning point when it cooperated in the construction of numerous pavilions at the 1970 Osaka World’s Fair with large membrane surface structures. The foundation for Taiyo Kogyo’s growth was laid in the course of undertaking large-scale pavilion construction and operation, including the construction of approximately 90% of the tent structures at the venue at that time, based on “membrane” technology. Group companies TSP Taiyo and Actio also grew and developed along with the Expo, forming the three companies that make up the Group today. The Expo was not only an opportunity for the Group to grow, but also a symbolic event that established our ties with society.

With this historical background in mind, this year’s joint Group training for new employees was held at the Expo Sauna “Taiyo no Tsubomi,” which Taiyo Kogyo sponsors as a Silver Partner and which brings together all of the Taiyo Group’s solutions, from design, construction, and installation to management, to provide sauna experience training.

During the sauna experience training at the Expo Sauna “Taiyo no Tsubomi,” participants presented what they learned under the theme of “If you were a member of the Taiyo Group Public Relations Department, how would you describe the attraction of the “Taiyo no Tsubomi”? The participants deepened their understanding through presentations on the theme “If you were a member of the Public Relations Department of the Taiyo Group, how would you convey the appeal of the “sun buds”?
