Held an informal ceremony for prospective employees to join the company in 2026

(Tokyo Head Office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Osaka Head Office: Yodogawa-ku, Osaka; President: Yumi Nomura; hereafter “Taiyo Kogyo”), a company involved in large-scale membrane surface structures (tent structures) and civil engineering and logistics materials, held a ceremony on October 1 at its Tokyo Head Office to make an unofficial offer of employment for fiscal 2026.

At the ceremony, President Nomura congratulated the 20 new graduates (13 males and 7 females) scheduled to join Taiyo Kogyo in April 2026, expressing his expectations for young human resources, and presented them with certificates of employment. Following the ceremony, the representatives of the new graduates expressed their aspirations after joining the company and strongly expressed their determination to take the first step as a member of society.

After the ceremony, a self-promotion contest was held as a recreational activity, with the theme of “What can we do with the waste materials of membranes and trusses from the pavilions and facilities we will be involved in at the Osaka Kansai Expo? Each of the informal candidates presented his or her own creative and ingenious ideas, such as “mitigating the heat island effect through membrane x water x wall greening,” “using various membrane materials as souvenirs and memorabilia,” and “a park restoration project to pass on the excitement of the Expo to the next generation. The participants felt a connection between the Expo and our company, which had just come to a close, and spoke enthusiastically about their contributions to a sustainable society and the future possibilities of using membranes. The day was also filled with a variety of other programs, including a marshmallow challenge*¹ to deepen the friendship among the informal meeting participants, and a reception for informal meeting participants to deepen their understanding of the Company and the bonds among them.

We are currently accelerating our global business development, sponsoring the Expo ’70 sauna “The Sun’s Buds,” an event organized by Expo ’70 Osaka-Kansai, and developing diverse businesses as three companies, together with TSP Taiyo, which provides event consulting, planning, and production, and ACTIO, which manages events and public facilities, etc. The number of employees has been increasing year by year, and the group as a whole has been taking on various challenges.
