Protective mats are placed above and below the impervious sheet to prevent damage to the sheet. By employing protective mats with excellent “penetration resistance” (resistance to penetration by protrusions), it is possible to prevent damage and leakage of the impervious sheet due to direct contact with protrusions.

“Appeal AN” mats for general protection
This is a spunbonded long-fiber nonwoven fabric made of 100% polyester fiber. It has superior tensile strength and tearing strength compared to anti-wool felt and short-fiber nonwoven fabrics. Wide type (4.2m width) with excellent workability is also available.
Light-shielding protective mats “Appeal L1500”, “Appeal LN650
This is a three-layered mat with a polyethylene laminate layer on the surface and ELVES (polyester/polyethylene core sheath structure) on the reverse side. It can be joined using a self-propelled hot-air welding machine, providing very stable joint strength.
