Taiyo Kogyo Corporation
(Headquarters: Kigawahigashi, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka City; hereinafter referred to as “Taiyo Kogyo”) has appointed Yumi Nomura, former Chairman of the Board, as President and Representative Director, effective March 29, 2022, replacing his predecessor, Hidefumi Araki.
The new President and Representative Director, Yumi Nomura, is the current President and Representative Director of our group company, TSP Taiyo K.K., and also represents the founding family. With this appointment, the President and Representative Director of TSP Taiyo K.K. will retire at the end of June.
Taiyo Kogyo has marked the 100th anniversary of its founding in 1922, and is now embarking on the next 100 years. As a company with a long history, Taiyo Kogyo aims to achieve further growth by enhancing the group’s centripetal force while cherishing the business foundation and corporate culture established by its predecessors, and by strengthening the collective strength of the entire Taiyo Group in order to expand the possibilities of the membrane business, which is one of its strengths.
In the current business environment, where unpredictable events continue to occur, we aim to join the ranks of global companies by delivering more of what only we can do and our unique added value to our customers in Japan as well as overseas. We will also return to the basic principle that “human resources are the source of value,” and aim to create an environment where employees can feel at home and work hard without anxiety, and to create a workplace where diverse personalities can work together with trust like a family.
